Technical Requirements

We appreciate that most organisations will already have made some level of investment in IT hardware and software. That is why we have designed eSellerPro to work on a variety of different platforms including PC / Windows and PC / Mac, as well as in a fully hosted environment.

eSellerPro is a pure Java application, using as its core database a version of DB2 (from IBM) and exploiting the published APIs from the major service providers. It has been designed to support high volume throughputs as well as stock listings for thousands of individual products.

The application integrates with both QuickBooks and Sage MMS and Line 50 for automatic posting of accounting transactions.

The system provides full support for barcodes, allowing the connection of standard barcode printers, scanners, and the use of handheld data capture devices with wireless connectivity.

eSellerPro is available in both a standalone and a fully hosted manner, using industry recognised hosting providers.

For users opting to host the system locally, we offer a comprehensive back-up service, providing a fall back position in the event of local disaster.
